It was premiered on June 7, 2009 with the season opener entitled ‘The Best Laid Plans’. In this episode, we saw that Claudia Joy and Michael were not capable to leave for Brussels as Emmalin had disappeared. In such conditions, Roxy, Denise, Roland and Pamela offered their support to them. On the other hand, Roxy was seen struggling to take over the bar from Collin. Denise couldn’t hide the news about her affair so she was seen dealing with the consequences as the news spread across the hospital.
The second episode of the Army Wives third season was entitled ‘About Face’. Here, we saw that Denise tried to figure out details about Frank who was dealing with the business troubles. She turned to Claudia for help who was busy in other tasks. Pamela decided to show all sides of base life to the new army wives.

And, then was the episode entitled ‘Moving out’. In this episode, we saw Pamela found that her kids were not interested to share a room anymore so she started looking for a new residence. Trevor made a call during the drill and it put his career in danger. On the other side, an outside therapist faced Roland. The very recent episode of Army Wives season 3 was aired on June 28, 2009 and it was entitled ‘Incoming’. In this episode, a job opportunity knocked at Roland’s door. Claudia tried to sort out the issues between Michael and Emmalin.
Only four episodes have been aired yet. The details for the next episodes are not available anywhere over the internet. Let me know if you have any information!
Well, the season opener received 3.48 million viewers and became the #1 cable drama of the year. The second season premiere garnered 4.5 million on June 8, 2008, thus a fall of 22% was seen in the Nielsen ratings of the show. Fans are sure that Army Wives TV show would pick its pace as the next episodes would go by.

Just after one month, we’d catch ‘Army Wives’ on our TV screens. Lifetime Television has confirmed that series would return on Sunday, June 7 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Army Wives is one of the most successful series aired on Lifetime Network in the last 25 years and is also the cable’s No. 1 rated drama among women from 18 to 40. The beginning of the third season would bring some new hardships and circumstances to be faced by the military men and their families. As per the news coming out, there would be 18 episodes in the third season of ‘Army Wives’. A little synopsis of what we would, probably, watch in the upcoming season.

Season would open with all the army wives joining hands to help Claudia Joy. It’d be the eve of the family’s imminent overseas transfer and Emmalin; Claudia’s daughter would disappear. Claudia Joy, while preparing to uproot for the new posting of her husband, would also be seen struggling with the outcome of leaving the ones who’re close to her. Pamela would serve as both, father and mother, to her children as her husband would be away due to his never-ending assignments. Denise’s affair would go public and she would be seen dealing with the consequences of it. And on a whole, we would see Claudia Joy, Roxy, Pamela, Roland and Denise navigating through the different phases of their relationships and coping with the unique experiences of being Army Wives. Well, it’s not known to me that what would be the title of the third season opener of Army Wives’? Do you know, jot down in the comment section please.
And, more surprising news is that Army Wives season 4 has also been announced, it’d be premiered in 2010 and would also consist of 18 episodes. While confirming so, JoAnn Alfano, executive vice president of Lifetime Networks said “This early pick-up - even prior to the Season 3 premiere - is a true testament to our commitment and support of this great show”. Amazing!

It has been a long- long time, since we saw ‘Army Wives’ on television. The last episode of the second season of the series was aired on 2 November, 2008.
But, the good news is that the wait is going to be over, soon. It has been confirmed that the third season of ‘Army Wives’ is going to premier on, Sunday 7th June, 2009.

I like the couple of Brigadier General Michael Holden (played by Brian McNamara) and Claudia Joy Holden (played by Kim Delaney) who have lost their teenage daughter Amanda in the incidence of bombing at a bar. They have one more daughter named “Emmalin”. This incidence marked the ending of season one. In the first episode of season two, “Claudia” dreams that her daughter “Amanda” has survived the bombing and is on her way to college. It appeared as if this was a tribute to the diseased character by the creators. Meanwhile, all the army wives begin to put their life back in stream, after the bombing.
Hope to see some more realities of the families living at the army base. I think, those, who have not seen the complexities of life, as the wife of an army man, will definitely be able to enjoy it. On the other hand, those, who are married to an army man, will see the reflections of their life in the series, to an extent. Some of my friends, like me, are wives of the military men, and we see the show with much enthusiasm, as we feel somewhat related to it.
We are waiting for the return of the series, in anticipation. Nice watching!
Yeah, I’ve written right and you’ve also read right……. this is absolutely true!
As per the latest news released by show representatives, there’s requirement of twins for the third season of ‘Army Wives’. But only the new born black twins! As we all know, Lifetime Network has announced third season of series and has also begun the production. Most probably, we’ll catch the third season of series in the mid of 2009, hopefully June or July! 19 episodes will be there in the third season of the series.

Well, by the way, who these very-required kids would be? I mean, whose kids they’re going to be? I guess that we’ll have to wait for the third season to see that…..
Though it’s not a very old drama but has brought too much success for the Lifetime Network. Entitling it the game changer for Lifetime would not be over the top. I’ve been a gigantic fan of ‘Army Wives’ since its premiere and no need to tell where I’d be on Sunday Night at 9:00 clock. Yesterday, I downloaded an episode from the second season of the series entitled ‘Thicker Than Water’. It’s one of my most favorite episodes of second season of ‘Army Wives’. It was very nice episode and it once again showed how everyone helps everyone else on base. We saw a soldier who’s to be deployed to Iraq. He was reluctant to go there and Claudia Joy was seen helping him. Denise and Getti relationship became a base for rumors. Betty realized that her cancer is getting worse and under the impact of emotions, she told Roxy about a lifelong dream. Ronald was seen taking advices being would be dad. Terry Serpico made a recurring appearance on this episode as Major Frank Sherwood. Several guest characters were also seen.

So, I’ve set my sight on the third season of ‘Army Wives’…. which is in the hands of future! Before third season premieres, here you can watch all previous episodes of last two seasons of Army Wives.

On 2nd of November, another season of the amazing series came to an end. The series that deals with the lives of army people and their problems is one of the most watched series on television. As we all know that the series has already been renewed with another season, so we do not have to worry about its comeback. Yes, but we also do not have any information about when the third season will be telecasted, nevertheless, we are hoping to watch the same by the end of next year. As for now let’s talk about the last episode of the second season.

The last episode of the second season was named ‘Last Minute Changes’. There’s a lot that happened in the season finale of the series. The main motif of the season finale was duty calls. How their duty is more important to these army officers, than anything else. The series that dealt with issues like infidelity, death and drug addiction throughout the season, to end up the season thought of this theme. The episode was also considered to be a very emotional one, though the writers did not intend to wrap up anything, so soon.

The producer of the series, Deborah Spera, said “we are exploring what it means to be married to the army and what sacrifices one has to make as a result of that marriage, so to speak.” The best thing about this episode was that all of them get together at a dinner. Everyone’s issues and problems were taken up in the episode. Well, I am not getting into the details if the episode because I want you all to watch the episode. All those who have seen the episode, know how good the episode was. And, all those who have not seen it download it from this site and watch the episode. You can share your thoughts about the episode by leaving a comment.
Army Wives’ is one of the most watched television shows on the American television. The series revolves around the lives of four army wives, their families and an army husband, whose wife is in the army. The show till date has completed two fabulous seasons and the third one is in production. Such an amazing series obviously deserves another season. But the sad news is that the original creator of the show, Katherine Fugate, has left the show.

Yes, the female behind the fantastic series has left the series. When asked, she said that ‘Army Wives’ is an amazing series and that she is very happy to be a part of the show. She further said that “With the show such an established hit now seems like a logical time for me to step away and focus on developing new projects.” Well now that doesn’t look like a logical reason, at least to me.

Even when asked to the channels they too felt giving a very convenient answer, not revealing the real reason. They said that “Katherine is incredibly talented and we’re grateful for her work in creating ‘Army Wives’. We are very happy to have had the opportunity to work with her.”
Well, now that we don’t know the real reason behind Fugate’s leaving the show, there is one thing that is bothering me. Will Fugate’s retiring from the show, affect the show? For that we will have to wait till the next season. But if you ask me, seriously, I don’t think that the network should in any way compromise on the quality of the show. Especially, if they want that the audiences should like their series, just the way it has been liked earlier.
I found second season as rocking, due to major changes brought in the storyline. How beautifully, the creators have changed the basic characters and introduced wonderful twists in their lives. The main attraction of the entire second season was Denise. I must appreciate the writers who transformed her house wife kind of image into a young girl in love with spontaneity. She behaves in this season like, a bird has just got out of cage and is anxious to fly for the first time.

She joins as a nurse in a hospital and falls in love with a patient Getty. This love affair becomes the word of every tongue in the post and Frank who was already reluctant towards Denise’s joining a job, is now worried about her changed behavior. She also learns to ride a bike in this season, which again disturbs Frank and he feels embarrassed in post for Denise’s bold acts.
I think in this season, Catherine Bell, Portraying Denise has got the most spectacular chunk. Her character got a total changeover, as throughout the first season she couldn’t come out of Father-son’s strained relationship and anger management of her son Jeremy. In the last episodes of this season, Denise reevaluates her relationship with Getty, when she gets the news of Frank will be back from Iraq. On the other hand, Frank returns home to save his marriage with Denise, but is worried if Denise is really in love with Getty.

Besides. Catherine, Wendy Davis portraying Joan Burton did get a worthy development in her role in this season. In the first season she was busy with making over her marriage with Roland, and eventually ends up with pregnancy in the finale episode. In the second season, at first she decides to abort the child, thinking that this is not the right time to be a mother. But later on she decides to give birth to the child and she and Roland happily wait for their child’s arrival in the world.
Do watch this season, and you will find many more love affairs and fluctuations in this season; this can simply be described as ‘Love is in air’.

If you like Army Wives, then here is a good news for you people, that Army Wives has not said goodbye after the second season finale, rather it’s coming back with third season set to air in 2009 on Lifetime TV. The third season will be carrying eighteen episodes. The second season has just seen it’s end on 17th of August and they guys have announced the third season. If they guys are making it this fast, then probably, we will be able to watch the third season in the beginning of 2009. Rest, these are just speculations yet and nothing is sure.

Do you guys know? Army Wives has been declared the most watched original drama series on Lifetime TV and also as a Lifetime’s Best Opening series. It has earned 3.7 million viewers in it’s first season, which is for the first time in the 24 years of the history of the network. Finally ABC and NBC got another solid competitor. Thanks to Army Wives.
Actually, the series deserves this honor. This was the happening show since the very first episode. In the introductory episode, Roxy decides to marry an army officer and relocates to his army post along with her two kids. Whereas, Pamela is first shown pregnant and finally gives birth to twins in the same episode in the same Jody bar. Events seemed like running in this episode, in the same episode it is discovered that she is acting as a surrogate mother for money to help poor financial condition of her family. All the wives, as well as a husband become friends in the pilot episode and every one is ready to help Pamela in keeping her surrogacy a secret.

My purpose of recalling the events is to say that what Army wives did in just one episode, any other drama series would have taken half of a season for it’s occurrence. May be, the fast pace of development of story is the main reason that it won hearts immediately after premier. A good drama series is that which is simple, precise and in a perpetual flow and Army Wives is just like that.
Army Wives made an entry to Lifetime TV with attracting glorious number of 3.5 million viewers immediately after it’s premier. There are the possibilities that it happened due to excellent promos and ad campaigns before launching. But I think the major credit goes to the plotline and concept. Whenever a show is designed as close to the real life issues, it becomes a big success every time.

The second season has just departed from the screen this month, so I think; this is the right time to have one more look upon the first season while waiting for the third season, as the airing dates are not confirmed yet. The pilot episode was most impressive from the whole season. Though, it was an introductory episode but what a happening introduction. They didn’t touch the past of any character, but started from the present and carried it to the future on fast pace. In first episode, Roxy plans to marry an army officer Trevor and shifts with him to his army post along with her two kids. There, she starts working in a bar and meets rest of the army wives and a husband. Claudia, Pamela, Joan and Dr. Roland.
Pamela gives birth to twins in the same episode in Claudia’s tea party. Denise is working upon anger management of her son Jeremy. Joan Burton is herself an army officer married to Roland, a psychiatrist and is working upon making over his marriage with Joan. They all are having their own troubles whether they are personal or financial, but they stay together to be each other’s helping hand through out the season. In the last episodes of this season, Pamela even joins a radio station thinking that other army wives do need somebody to share their grievances.

The episodes, ‘The Art of Separation’ and ‘One of Our Own’ are most adorable episodes. As in the first one Denise’s husband Frank met with a chopper crash, while being deputed in Iraq and it is not confirmed whether he is alive or dead and in the second episode, Denise is desperate to go to her husband in Iraq. You will find consecutive events running with spontaneity and at fast pace, throughout the season.
